Ultimate Quest

THE TECHKNOW ULTIMATE QUEST

OFFICIAL RULES/ GUIDELINES:

1. To be able to qualify for entry in this competition each team must be a 3-person team and
members must be students from the department of Math and Computer Science.
2. Each member of the team must present their health certificate proving that they are
capable of any physical activities.
3. There will only be 8 teams. Registration is on a first come first served basis.
4. Each team has to pass a registration form to be signed along with their medical record.
5. Every team will be starting at the different posts; there will be an assigned officer, who will
be "guarding" the post.
6. The race consists of 8 major challenges which may deal with programming skills, university
awareness, general knowledge, etc.
7. If the group can’t finish the challenge, automatically they are eliminated.
8. Each group is given two chances to answer the problem correctly.
9. Winners are identified based on the time of doing a certain challenge.
10. The three groups that have the least average of their time shall be declared the Champ, 1 st
and 2nd.
11. In case of a tie, there will be a tie breaker.
12. Cash prizes and certificates of recognition await the winners.
13. The Ultimate Quest will be on February 3, 2011, Thursday, around the TC Grounds from
1:00-5:00 PM. Participants shall be excused from their classes.
