Anime Dance Contest

The University of San Carlos Datalogics Society is hosting an anime dance contest called Otaku Umi 2011. Teams must copy and perform a dance scene from their favorite anime, matching the costumes, background music, and number of performers shown in the original video. OTAKU UMI 2011 - ANIME DANCE CONTEST

OFFICIAL RULES/GUIDELINES:

1. Each team must copy, and then perform any dance scene from their favorite anime series.
2. Costume and BG music must exactly match the video you are planning to imitate. For example,
in Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya’s ending video, you will need five (5) people to perform this
on stage. If the video you are trying to recreate has four (4) characters performing the dance,
kindly provide only four (4) members to perform on stage.
3. Interested contestant/s must get and fill up a registration form on or before Wednesday,
February 2 at LB 464 or contact Angeli De los Reyes at 09222066111.
4. Contest will start in the afternoon of February 4, 2011, Friday.
5. Limited slots are available. First Come First Serve basis.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

 Creativity (30%)
 Performance, timing & coordination (30%)
 Difficulty (30%)
 Audience Impact (10%)

Best Dance Group
