Saber Vs Conocer

Saber vs.

conocer
• Saber and conocer both mean “to know”, but they
deal with knowing different things.
• Their conjugation is the same in present tense as
a regular –er verb, except for the yo form, which is
irregular.

Saber Conocer
sé sabemos conozco conocemos
sabes sabéis conoces conocéis
sabe saben conoce conocen
When do we use saber and when do we use conocer?

saber conocer
• Used for knowing facts or • Used for knowing a person.

be very familiar or acquainted with these
things.
