INTRODUCTION-
WAL-MART-Wal-Mart ,a U.S. based retail industry which is
known as the giant in the retail industries deals with
almost all the food and beverages products, apparels.etc
There are four section to understand and answer as what
makes Wal-Mart the best in the industry-
1.Retailing industry at the time of wall mart`s innings

• Walmart is the leader in retailing industry with fiscal
revenue of $244.52 billion in 2003 making it the
world`s largest corporation. walmart as of 2002 had
12,83,000 employees growing at 11.2%. Strategy of
walmart is extra ordinary which manages and
operates over 4,150 retail facilities globally.
Walmart employes over 1.3 million associates
,owns over 4,000 stores out of which 3,000 are in
US and serves around 100 million customers
weekly .
• Walmart has acquired many internation stores
and merged with some super stores like ASDA
in U.K.
• Walmart is having great network with almost
with almost over 7,800 stores in 16 markets
worldwide.It employes more than 2 million
associates and serves more than 100 million
customers every year.
