– Tighten the F3 counter pressure bolt to a torque of 67 N.m: – Assemble the new strainer and the oil pump.
IMPORTANT
Check that the seal between the oil pump and the old
strainer has been removed from the oil pump.
The new strainer is supplied with a new seal.
IMPORTANT
The converter housing seal must be replaced if it is
damaged or if the rubber section is broken.

– Refit the converter housing. – Refit the converter.
– Tighten the bolts to a torque of 29 N.m.
– Refit a new O-ring (A).
NOTE
Engage the converter, holding it perfectly in line with
the inlet shaft.
Turn and manoeuvre it into position.
When it is in place, the end of the studs are level with
the engine/gearbox coupling surface.
Fit the retaining pin or secure the converter if the
automatic transmission is refitted to the vehicle
immediately after the repair operation.
