OUTLINE OF THE PLOT FOR YOUR ADVERT ONE AND TWO WITH AN

EXPLANATION OF HOW THE FEATURES OF THE ADVERTS MAKE AN


INTEGRATED CAMPAIGN (MINIMUM 100 WORDS)

Advert Number 1
The advert starts with a shot of a TV and on the TV is the call of duty count
down around that shot there is six other shots of guys waiting to play the game
once the countdown finishes the TV turns off. You then see a blank TV and the
reactions of the six guys when there TV has turned off. On the TV some writing
will appear saying “Just one less hour will help to make a change”

Advert Number 2
• The advert starts with a shot of a teenager in bed being woken up by his
alarm. On the side of the screen there a bar showing the amount of energy
that this one teenager using in one morning getting ready for school. It will
show how lights are left on, TVs switched on even though they aren’t using
them, how they cook the breakfast, how the do there hair and how they get
to school. When the teenager shuts the car door the shot will black out and
text will appear say “Just think make a change”
EXPLANATION OF HOW THIS WILL MEET THE DEMANDS OF THE
BRIEF (MINIMUM 70 WORDS) – YOU MUST REFER TO THE
BRIEF WHEN DOING THIS.

Both adverts meet the brief as they both are to do with young people and
their actions contributing to global warming. Both adverts are linked and have
a common message to deliver, both adverts are also amid at what just one
person can do to help which meet the brief for taking personal responsibility
for changing their lifestyles. Advert 1 and 2 both are raising awareness in
young people of the effect of their actions on global warming leading to
climate change and for how they can change the lifestyle to help stop this.

COMPLETED ON YOUR AUDIENCE AND THE SUBJECT OF

From my results I now know that 80 % of the people I asked


walk short journeys. This tells me that people are concerned
about the carbon foot print slightly as they are making a small
effort just by walking short journeys

Within my two adverts I the of appeal would be


familiarity as in both the audience will be able
to relate to the person or people in the advert.
This will help me to put across the message
that it is something you need to do for your self
and that no one else can do it for you.
OUTLINE OF THE NARRATIVE STRUCTURE
Advert 1
The advert will have a chronological flow throughout. It starts
with a shot of a TV, on the TV is the call of duty count down and
around that shot there are six other shots of guys waiting to play
the game. Once the countdown finishes the TV turns off. You
then see a blank screen and the reactions of the six guys when
their TV has shut off. On the TV some writing will fade in and
read “Just one hour less will help to make a change”

Advert 2
The advert will be in cronological order as we see the teenage wake up and and go through there daily
rotten showing the amount of of energy thy use in one morning. The advert begins with a shot of a
teenager in bed being woken up by her alarm. On the side of the screen there is a bar showing the
amount of energy that this teenager uses in one morning getting ready for school. It will show how the
lights are left on, televisions are switched on and aren’t being used, how they cook the breakfast, how
the do there hair and how they travel to school. When the teenager shuts the car door the shot will
black out and text will appear say “Just think. Make a change”

advertising an idea and not as product.
There are lots of different ways to do this I
will be doing it by letting the audiences
relate to the characters in the advert. I’m
going to make the advert as realistic as
possible so that it is really easy to relate to
it.
