Graphing Activity in Excel.

Materials needed:

100g pack of M&M ‘s

papers (for counting )

Instructions:

1. Pour out the M&M’s on a clean piece of paper and separate them according to colors. You can use
extra sheet of clean paper to separate each colors.
2. Count the number of M&M’s by color and put the data on the table below.
3. Encode or type the data into Excel and create a pie graph. Format the pie graph with the correct colors
of your M&M’s. Save it as MM.
4. Compare your data with your classmates and answer the question below.
