Control Systems Lab 02: Adil Zafar, 307 Bilal Khawar, 328 Hassan Ali, 345 BEE-5B

This document contains homework assignments for a control systems lab. It includes 3 assignments to observe the simulation of a model, study the effects of inputs, and study the effects of noise. The students are asked to run simulations with different step inputs and step noises added and observe how the noise affects the output graph by either adding to or subtracting from the response depending on whether the noise is positive or negative.

Home Assignment:
H1: Observing the Simulation of the Model
Part a:
Part b & c:
y(t)
x(t)

H2: Study Effects of inputs

Part a:
y(t)
x(t)
Part b:
y(t)
x(t)

H3: Study effects of noise

Part a: Step input (final value=1 after 1 sec) and step noise (final value=0.1 after 0.5 sec)
y(t)
x(t)

Part b: Step input (final value=1 after 1 sec) and step noise (final value=-0.1 after 0.5 sec)
As apparent from the last and the coming part, the noise affects the graph in a way that if the
noise is positive it add to the output and if the noise is negative (as in part c) it subtracts from
the overall response, thus overriding the effect of input.
Part c:
y(t)
x(t)
