BJT Amp Question

This circuit diagram shows a common emitter amplifier with an input voltage (VI), resistors R1 and R2, a transistor, and an output voltage (VO) across a load resistor RL. R1 and R2 should be selected to provide the maximum possible voltage swing at the output VO. The supply voltage is 5V and other component values including the transistor's VBE of 0.7V are provided.
