This document provides instructions for using the AFUWin Flash Utility to flash a BIOS update. The steps are: 1) disable the user account control on Windows, 2) restart, 3) copy the AFUWin folder to the desktop, 4) execute AFUWin.exe and press OK, 5) open the BIOS file, select "Program All Blocks", press "Flash", then press "Exit" and restart the system.

How to use AFUWin Flash Utility?

(Note: The first two steps are only available when using AFUWIN to flash BIOS under VISTA.)
1. Enter control panel and turn off/uncheck the (UAC) item as below.

2. Press “Restart”.

3. Copy the “AFUWIN” folder onto desktop of Windows.

4. Select & execute the “AFUWIN.exe” and press “OK”.


5. Following below steps,

5-1. Press “Open” and load BIOS “.ROM” file.

5-2. The default screen of AFUWIN flash utility.


5-3. Select “Program All Blocks”.

5-4. Press “Flash”.


5-5. Press “Exit” and restart the system.
