Micro Project Presentation (Prajwal)

This document summarizes a student microproject on a water level indicator and alarm circuit. The circuit uses 8 blocks: an AC power supply, rectifier, 5V regulator, main cable in water, level indicator, switching circuit, and speaker. When water reaches a fixed level, it completes a circuit that triggers the buzzer through multiple switches to alert of overflow. The project aims to indicate the water level and save water wastage by alerting of overflow. Potential disadvantages include false alarms from water splashes and not working during power failures.

INTRODUCTION

Basically this circuit is used for indicate water
level and if there is overflow of water level the
alarm should blow on. These circuits do not
contain more components. That makes the circuit
very simple and utilizable.
BLOCK DIAGRAM

BLOCK
DESCRIPTION

It is consists of 8 blocks and each block has its specific function.
AC POWER SUPPLY: It gives 230ac supply to the circuit.
RECTIFIER: It rectifies the AC circuit and converts it to the DC
form.
5V REGULATOR: It gives constant DC voltage of 5V to the circuit.
MAIN CABLE IN WATER: It is use for finding the water level.
LEVEL INDICATOR: It is use to indicate that when the water is
more than level.
SWITCHING CIRCUIT: It is AC as a switch which is automatically
ON/OFF.
SPEAKER: It is use for generate a melodious sound in the speaker.
CIRCUIT DIAGRAM

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

 One bridge rectifier should be connected to the circuit to
give the power supply. After that one 5v regulator should
be connected to the circuit to drive the digital IC. One main
Aluminum path will be connected to the bottom of the tank as
a level specified.
Then the LED is to be connected to indicate the
level of the water. Once water comes to tank’s bottom side
get connected to water. Whenever water reaches to the fixed
level,
Another path as also come to contact with the path and whole
circuit becomes short circuit.
So, the output comes through the multiple switches
to the buzzer.

ADVANTAGES

1. By this project we can know that water
level is full.

 2. We can fix the required water level.

3. By this project we can save the wastage of

water.
DISADVANTAGES

When water comes in force and then the
water drops reaches to the indicator and then
the alarm will blow on.

In case of power failure this circuit does not

work.
CONCLUSION

Lastly as our micro project we are worked
continuously to complete this project nicely and
have implemented all our knowledge that we
have gained in our college. We wish to present
this project to be best and the most efficient
project with the help of teachers and our friends.
