How did you attract/address your audience?
To Attract our audience to our film firstly we needed to conduct methods of finding out what people look for in an action film. We did this by conducting a short questionnaire and a focus group video. What props would you want to see in the opening to From the results of minutes? Buildings, Guns, Cars, Chair/table the first question we took on board that buildings, guns, cars and furniture are things audiences expect to see in the opening two minute.
The scenery, around the actor
was a popular choice we made sure we chose an area that suits the shots we were going for. Furniture was another choice we uses a table for our actor to act as if he were getting tortured. This is also a flashback which was another choice chosen by people look for in an action film. What would you consider to be most important in an action film? The action, The mission, Story line, Death
From this question i learnt that the
action and story line are things that draw audiences in to action films. From the print screens you can see our actor running away from the mental home he’s been held captive in. The use of the flash back here keeps the audience interested and tells the audience there is a story line behind the one showing on screen. Our questionnaire also found that people expect to see credits in the opening two minutes.
