Control Chart

The emergency department has implemented improvements and wants to determine if key performance targets continue to be met. The targets are an average wait time of 15 minutes or less and defects (wait times over 20 minutes) should be low. Statistical process control charts are being used to analyze if the average wait time, range of wait times, and number of defects are in control.
