Introduction to the Course

A degree course in Aeronautical Engineering is a 4 year


full time course (includes 6 month internship in some
universities).

 Students learn about aircraft structure and materials,


design of new concepts and optimisation of vehicles,
movement of air around an aircraft analysed by using
CFD and wind tunnel testing, study of flight
dynamics and stability and the impact of aircraft
design on flight characteristics, development and use
of flight control systems, opportunity to undertake
practical flying training, exposure to the latest
• Eligibility: Class 10+2 or its equivalent (with mandatory
subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) .Minimum Cut
Offs vary from university to University and the board in which
class 12 exam has been.
Entrance test as may be necessary from university to
university

Diploma students can get into 2nd year of degree or 1st year
depending on their grades in diploma (ex; a diploma student
with higher 1st class might secure admission into the second
year while some with 1st class will  be eligible for 1st year|
