A Portable Wireless Eye Movement

This paper presents a portable wireless device for computer interaction via eye movement signals from disabled users. Electrodes around the eye detect weak eye movement signals, which are amplified and transmitted via Bluetooth. A computer then processes the signals to enable wireless eye-based human-computer interaction.

A portable wireless eye movement-

controlled Human-Computer
Interface for the Disabled
SUMMARY:
In this paper they have presented portable device for
disabled people for the computer interference. This
devices takes signal from eye movement through the
electrodes placed around the eye. Signals from the eye
are very weak the first amplified the signals using
instrumentation amplifier with the reference electrode
place at the forehead then design the low pass signal
amplifier because the signal are of very low frequency.
Then used a Bluetooth wireless module for data
transmission and receiving and further processing of the
signal is done in the computer.

DRAWBACKS:

The wireless module is not for the wide range and signal
processing can also be done using simple software’s like
lab view and mat lab.

IMPROVEMENTS:
We can improve this system by using microcontrollers
and as far as biomedical field is consult we can
implement this system on wheel chairs for motor
controlling with the little modification. We can control
robotic arm in 2 axis with the same module with little
change in programming.
