EInstruction's Workspace is designed to get a new user up and running to engage their students the next day in class by using the CPS Student Response Pads. In this session you will learn how to bring all the pieces of the Suite together into one single lesson. Create a test using ExamView Test Generator, embedded that test inside a Workspace lesson and then use CPS Student Response Pads to engage the students and check for understanding.

Participants will learn how use technology to integrate 21st century elements into the Elementary Classroom. Solutions will be shared and discussed for how to implement elements like problem based learning, collaboration, student ownership, paperless assignments, and other current trends.

21st Century Classroom Centers/Stations Learn how a fifth grade Math teacher has been able to keep his classroom at 90% and above on the Math OAA. He has been using centers (or stations) for the past five years in his Math classroom. The centers are built around one learning concept and incorporate best practices for technology.

This workshop explains the research process and basic principles of grant proposal writing and fundraising campaigns. You will see how easy grant writing can be after locating the right supporter of your cause. We will discuss both mini-grants and large requests involving a group project within your school. Participants will develop an outline of a potential project in need of funding. The instructor raised over $25,000 in cash and computer equipment donations for a school district through grants and a fundraising campaign. The fundraising initiative was a project for a high school Computer Applications class utilizing Internet research and Microsoft Word in a direct mail campaign.
