Lesson Name: Ordering Food Class/Level : Middle School Materials: activity worksheets, Menus, video, apron Goal/Aim: The students will be able to identify and order food and drinks at a restaurant or shop in English. Warm-up: Students will look at a meet up and order video to introduce the lesson of today. Students must complete the related worksheet. Pre-requisites: Students should be familiar with some restaurant vocabulary and grammar. Introduction Students are introduced to the main topics of the class. 1. Ordering food and drinks 2. Restaurant dishes and menu items. Practice 1. Ask students to take out their notebooks and take notes on presentation. 2. Students are provided with worksheet and menu. 3. Students perform role play as a class before 3 groups are asked to volunteer ad perform dialog in front of class. Reinforcement: A. Students participate in Jeopardy review game. B. Students are given a crossword puzzle if time allows. Conclusion: Review of what we have studied and learned. Any Questions?
