WEEK 3 (Saturday -31 July, 2011 8 hrs 31 July, 2011- Saturday-

Friday- 5 August, 2011)

That day I started me day with accounts department because Accounts manager call me up for assisting them. I come back after 2 hour and again join Sir Adeel. I am also entertaining customers by introducing different accounts and there features.

8 hrs 02 August, 2010- MondayToday Mr.

Adeel Butt took me to the clearing section. Clearing is a process in which different

banks treat the cheque of other one. All the banks have accounts in NBP, NBP. Debit or credit according to the customer order through cheque. Clearing is done 2 time in day, first time in morning at 9.15 am than at 1.30 pm.

8 hrs 03 August, 2010-TuesdayToday Mr. Adeel butt told me about the clearing. Clearing is The transfer of funds from a branch of bank to the other branch of the same bank or the other bank on which the instrument is drawn, without involving cash through "State Bank's clearing house. I learned about the Outward clearing. It is of two types  LOCAL CLEARING (NIFT)  S.C (Short Credit) All the remaining day I spend in understanding the process of clearing.

8 hrs 4 August, 2010- WednesdayToday I learned about the inward clearing. In the remaining whole day I learned about clearing. I also helped some customers who were having some problems in voucher filling and account opening.

8 hrs 06 August, 2010- FridayToday Mr. Adeel butt taught me about the following things:      Demand draft Mail transfer Pay order TRAVELER'S CHEQUES Letter of credit

I spent my whole day in understanding all these things.

In this week I learned a lot about Demand draft, Mail transfer, Pay order, TRAVELERS CHEQUES and Letter of credit.
All these are part of billing section which is very important in a bank. Billing section save its record in daily record register and Pay order registers etc
