Activity session subject : Classroom Objects Vocabulary: pencil, pen, marker, coloured pencil, crayon, eraser, ruler, pencil sharpener, glue, scissors, paper, book, bag, garbage can, desk, table, chair, board, stapler Activities / songs / games:

Song: The Wheels on the Bus Activities: What is in the bag? Children have to pass the school
bag around and when the music stops pull a classroom object out of the bag and tell the class what it is

Phonics We will continue to review the sounds, actions and songs for s a t p i n c/k e h r m d g o u l f b and continue to introduce j/z/w. We will be doing activities in class to pair jolly phonics with written letters. New sight words for this week include: me, no, go, up. We will also be practicing to write the letter e.

Review This week we will continue to review: family, feelings and shapes.

Notes / parent follow up: To practice classroom objects as your child what classroom supplies are when completing homework. For example, ask your child what is in their school bag and or pencil case. Ask, what is it? Reply, it is a pencil/eraser/ruler/marker/crayon
