Fredrik Idestam and Leo Mechelin founded the Nokia Company in 1871, originally operating as a paper mill and rubber works. In 1887, Nokia produced its first mobile phone, the Mobira Cityman 150. Over the next century, Nokia grew to become the largest mobile phone manufacturer in the world by innovating its products and expanding into new markets. However, threats from low-cost competitors and a changing mobile industry weakened Nokia's position in recent years.

his close friend s Leo Mechelin, renamed and transformed his firm into a share company, thereby founding the Nokia Company, the name it is still known by today.

1871 to 2010(139year) run the company so much smoothly and its also was growing up a Largest telecommunication manufacturing company in the world.

1987 NOKIA produced first sale phone mobile. And the product is The Mobira Cityman 150, Nokia's NMT-900 mobile

Now the Nokia mobile are all facility are given in mobile . Like.. SMS, MMS, EMAIL, VIDEO CALL Etc.

Voice goes mobile.if it can go mobile .it will.
