Math This week students will begin Chapter 1: Model Multiplication and Division. Please read over the MATH at HOME newsletter in your paragraph structure. The remainder of the first 9 weeks will focus on expository writing, writing to explain.
Check your childs folder weekly, and provide him/her childs homework folder on Monday. It offers suggestions as to how feedback on his progress. Every writer needs an audience! you can help reinforce what your child is learning at school at home. If your child had difficulty with any of the skills from Chapter 0, please continue to review them throughout the school year. Threedigit subtraction and telling time are especially important skills for them to have mastered. The first basal is titled, Changing Patterns.
