Graphics are two-dimensional visual materials designed to communicate messages to viewers through verbal and symbolic visual cues. There are four main types of graphic materials: drawings, charts, graphs, and posters. Drawings use lines to represent concepts and can aid instruction by being less detailed. Charts graphically represent relationships and should be clear and simple. Graphs visually depict numerical data and relationships. Posters incorporate visual elements like lines, color, and words to catch attention and communicate brief persuasive messages.
