RM Types of Data

This document discusses two types of data: primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data that is collected fresh and for the first time by the researcher to address a specific problem or research question. It is considered original data. Secondary data is data that is already available from various sources like books, reports, journals, and government publications. While primary data is aimed at disclosing reality, secondary data is more readily available but may be less reliable for addressing specific research problems.
