Graffiti Rubric

This rubric evaluates graffiti art projects on four criteria: lettering style and uniqueness, number of designs used, use of color and color scheme, and overall craftsmanship and effort. Students can earn up to four points for each criteria, for a total of 16 points. Higher point values are given for more unique lettering, inclusion of multiple designs, use of colors that work well together, and evidence of care and effort in the piece. Lower point values reflect more standard or basic lettering, fewer designs, colors that don't coordinate, incomplete work, or lack of effort. The rubric is used to assess students' graffiti art and assign a percentage grade and letter grade.
