Bluetooth allows for wireless exchange of data between devices over short distances, creating personal area networks. It can connect several devices like a mobile phone to a computer. Modules discussed include instant messaging, mouse access, monitoring persons and transactions, and accessing applications from a mobile device. Hardware requirements include a computer with at least a Pentium IV 2.4 GHz processor, 80GB hard disk, monitor, mouse, 512MB RAM, Bluetooth adapter, and a Nokia mobile phone supporting Bluetooth. The software requirements include Windows XP SP2, Java 1.5 or greater, and the NetBeans IDE.

Bluetooth
Bluetooth is an open wireless protocol for exchanging data over short distances(MAXUP TO 100 mts using short length radio waves) from fixed and mobile devices creating personal area networks (PANs). It was originally conceived as a wireless alternative to RS-232 data cables. It can connect several devices, overcoming problems of synchronization.

Instant messaging
Officer can contact or convey message instantly. Instant messaging requires the use of a client program that hooks up an instant messaging . Service and differs from e-mail in that conversations are then able to happen in real-time.

Mouse Access
Be comfortable while on the go with this compact, mobile mouse. Smooth optical performance, a scroll wheel and four buttons keep you productive.

Monitoring Persons(Server) & Transaction process


A monitor or display (sometimes called a visual display unit). It is a piece of electrical equipment which displays images generated by devices such as computers in Mobile.
