The resilient Magmakin make their homes in extremely hot and hostile climates. Often seen in the proximity of gas vents or active volcanoes, Magmakin thrive by absorbing heat and carbon from lava flows and adding it to their own bulk. Their epidermal layer is composed of dried lava that is as hard as a rock and as resilient as carapace armour. Highly territorial, these fiery creatures will protect their domain and their young fiercely against intruders and often charge headlong into the enemy with reckless abandon.
