Course Version: 063 Duration: 5 days Audience Developer Consultants Prerequisites: Essential Programming experience SAPTEC Fundamentals of SAP Web AS BC400 ABAP Workbench Foundations Recommended None Goals Determine the concepts of object-oriented programming Develop business applications with ABAP Objects Good understanding of object-oriented programming using ABAP Objects as an example Course Based on Software Release SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Content Analyze and design classes (UML) Classes, instances, references Inheritance, interfaces, polymorphism Events Special object-oriented techniques Global classes/interfaces (Class Builder) Class-based exception concept Notes This course is aimed exclusively at participants without any knowledg of object-oriented programming. You should attend both BC400 (ABAP Workbench Foundations) and BC401 (ABAP Objects) to gain in-depth understanding of the ABAP Workbench as well as the ABAP programming language. (ABAP consists of procedural and object-oriented parts. This is also reflected in these courses.) The course is also suitable for participants who are using a release older than the one specified (at least SAP R/3 4.6).
