Homecoming Info

Homecoming 2011 will take place from October 11-15. The homecoming game against Heritage Pride will be on October 14 at 7 pm with the theme "Midnight Masquerade". Each class has a different city theme for hallway decorating and spirit week includes pajama day, a blast from the past day, and wacky tacky day. Voting for homecoming court will be October 3-4 and the pep rally will be on October 14. The parade on October 14 will line up at 4:15 pm in the parking lot by Sport and Health. The homecoming dance on October 15 from 8-11 pm will have snacks, entertainment, and decorating from 8:30 am on Saturday.

Homecoming 2011 is upon us! Below, are pertinent points regarding the parade, game, and dance.

The Homecoming game kickoff against Heritage Pride is October 14 at 7 pm. Theme: Midnight Masquerade Freshman Class: Paris/Nice Sophomore Class: Rio de Janeiro Junior Class: Venice Senior Class: New Orleans Hallway Decorating: Date and Time: Annual Hall Decorating will take place in your class hallway on Tuesday, October 11 from 4-9 p.m. and on Wednesday morning, October 12 from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Please see your class sponsors to sign up for a committee. Freshmen 500 Hallway Sophomores 200 Hallway Juniors 600 Hallway Seniors 400 Hallway Spirit Week: October 11: PJ Day October 12: Blast from the Past (dress from your favorite decade) October 13: Wacky Tacky Day October 14: Spirit Colors (Freshmen Orange, Sophomores Navy, Juniors White, Seniors Toga/Tie Dye Homecoming Court: Voting electronically on Oct. 3 and 4. Practice during FLEX for the court on Oct. 11. Rain date is Oct. 13. Pep Rally: The pep rally will take place on October 14. Pep rally schedule to follow. Parade: The parade will take place on October 14. If your club or group would like to have a float in the parade, please fill out the form on the Parade Guidelines document and return it to me ASAP.

ALL STUDENTS must complete a permission form to participate in the parade. Shuttle buses are available to transport students to the parade route. The parade route has changed. Line up will being at 4:15 in the parking lot to the right of Sport and Health in Brambleton. Please see the parade route map on the I Drive.

Dance: Tickets go on sale Oct. 7 for $20.00 during all lunches. Tickets will be sold Oct. 11 through 14 for $25.00 during all lunches. The dance will take place on October 15 from 8 pm until 11 pm. PTSO will SELL snacks and drinks. Entertainment (jester, juggler, caricature, magician, henna artist TBD) in the cafeteria.
