First Day

Mrs. Paney was nervous on the first day of school as she does not know what each new year will bring in terms of students. While she had time before the students arrived, she straightened up her classroom. When the intercom announced that the buses were arriving soon, Mrs. Paney took a deep breath. At 8:00 AM, the students started arriving and finding their classrooms. When Mrs. Paney looked around, she saw a group of happy looking children staring up at her. She smiled and welcomed them to their new classroom. The students responded positively, saying they hoped it would be a good year. Mrs. Paney then knew it would be a good year and started the first day.
