2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR REMINDERS Congratulations to Nancy Janelle, our VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH. Thank you to all the volunteers who worked the McIntosh and Micanopy Festivals. It was a success for the PTO and Safety Patrol. FRIDAY, NOV. 11 NO SCHOOL VETERANS DAY Students not in their classroom by 8:15 are considered tardy. An adult must accompany them to the front office or send a note for an EXCUSED tardy. Students are encouraged to wear their MACS shirts on Fridays.

4-H FOOD DRIVE


Our annual food drive will start Monday, Nov. 7. Please send any nonperishable food items and also personal hygiene items into your childs classroom.

PENNIES FOR PATIENTS


Our school collected $500 with the Pennies for Patients program for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Mrs. Huddlestons 2nd grade won the Olive Garden lunch by raising $129.78. THANKSGIVING FEAST
We will hold our annual Thanksgiving Feast on Tuesday, Nov. 22. Sign-up sheets for the classroom will be posted on the doors. The sign-up sheet for volunteering to help with the event will be in the front office with the Volunteer Hours Log.

Early Dismissal on Wednesdays


School dismisses at 1:00 every Wednesday. After school care is available from Blue Wave for a fee.
