Roti

This document provides a project synopsis for a mechanical roti maker. The roti maker uses mechanical rotation powered by a hand wheel rather than electricity to make up to 200 rotis per hour. It employs three mechanisms - a scotch yoke mechanism for flattening the dough, gear mechanism for rotational motion, and a conveyor to move flattened rotis to a cooking chamber where they are cooked using gas. The roti maker conserves electrical energy and requires less human energy than electric machines while providing advantages such as different types of flour can be used and dough can be flattened to different thicknesses.

ABSTRACT: It is a fully mechanical based Roti Making project for home-like Rotis.
It has the capacity of making up to 200 Rotiss in an hour. This project does not require electrical energy. It uses mechanical rotation from hand wheel. There will be 3 mechanisms, first will be a scotch yoke mechanism that causes oscillation motion which result for the leveling of the Rotis to its required shape. Second, gear mechanism which gives rotational motion for the shaft. Third mechanism is a conveyor in which flattened rotis are passed to cooking gas chamber. And finally through this rotis are cooked to be served.

WHY IS IT REQUIRED: There is a lot of electrical machines that creates rotis,

thus it consume lot of electrical energy. Hence this Roti making project will help to conserve electrical energy and with less human energy rotis can be cooked.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES?

It doesnt not use electrical energy, it uses small human force for rotational purpose It gives almost 200 rotis in one hours. Different rotis can be cooked with different flours.eg. paroto Time consumption is less Dough can be flatten in to very thin or thick size that will be required as per use. All the material for manufacturing requires less cost

Marketing Potential: It can be purchased by any kind of buyer who owns different
kind of restaurants. It can be very useful for a mobile canteen user and household application.
