Tests are on Fridays. This weeks words are: chip pinch chin chop inch lunch champ chick wish shop how many Sight Words Please add these word cards to your Sight Word Box . Practice often. air animals around fly live soon turns

What we are learning In Reading- The story this week is I am a Butterfly. It is a nonfiction piece about the life cycle of a butterfly. Our phonics study is the ch or tch sound in words.

In Writing-We are working on writing several ideas on a topic using spaces between words and a period at the end of a sentence.
In Math-We have begun Unit 3, Making 10s.

Our Calendar

*Wed., Thurs., Fri.,Nov.23-25-No School! Happy Thanksgiving! *Tues., Dec.6-Field trip to the Hippodrome to see the Christmas Carol. *Thurs., Dec.8-Cookie Dough delivery *Sat., Dec.10-Light up Micanopy in front of Coffee and Cream. *Thurs., Dec. 15-Our class holiday party. We are planning a luncheon and craft party. More info will come next week. *Mon., Dec-Mon., Jan. 2-No School! Winter Holidays. *Tues., Jan. 3-Classes resume

In Science-We will study the lifecycle of the butterfly.
