Memorial National High SchoolBUCAYAO ANNEX was officially established and became operational on June 23, 2004. It is situated in Barangay Bucayao, Calapan City Oriental Mindoro with a total land area of 6, 873 square meters. Under the leadership of Barangay Captain Zacarias Ontiveros, barangay resolution No. 17 was passed to provide greater opportunities for learning and

development of high school students in the vicinity and other proximate areas. This undertaking gained

widespread approach from the local government, and from the immediate residents of the community. Former City Mayor Arnan C. Panaligan, its City Education Officer Mrs. Marilyn E. Manigbas, Dr. Donato G. Bueno, Principal IV of the mother school, LEMNAHIS and Schools Division Superintendent Veneranda S. Atienza expressed strong support to the noble project. It further paved the way for the establishment of the annex school.
