7 Appendage: 7.1 Check APN, Set Up IP Address & Port Number

APN is provided by telecom provider for GPRS service. At the end of this manual is a summary of world APNs. If it doesnt work, please consult your service operator for information. Set up IP Address & Port Number There are two ways for internet: Router & Modem. If you use Router, you need log onto Router to set. If you use Modem, you need not log onto Modem to set. Router: Several computers use Router for internet. When GPRS data comes to Router, it will come to one of the computers. This computer is related to Port. This connection is established by Port to the computers IP under the Router. First check out the computers IP under the Router as below:
Input ipconfig:
Set up the router. Usually, you can log into the router by http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or refer to the routers user manual for information.

Modem: For Modem, you simply set up the unit as above. There is no logging to Modem as for Router.
