Nokia supplies various different indoor units for Nokia FlexiHopper and MetroHopper to provide optimal features for different environments. FIU 19E is an indoor unit for Q1 and/or SNMP managed networks. It provides SNMP interface for commercial managements systems. Both fault and performance management is supported. Additionally some values can be read like receiving signal level and cross-connections. FIU 19E is connected to management system via LAN. This enables quick HopperManager connection and fast software download. IP routing enables management of consecutive links and also connecting of external equipment to same DCN connection.
