To understand and learn in detail about the different departments of the KFC and their hierarchy of operations To have a general awareness and understanding of the entire functioning of KFC To analyze the collected data and derive conclusions based on the findings To understand the extent of linkage between theoretical aspects and its application in KFC To evaluate the effectiveness of the present functions of KFC To do SWOT analysis of the company To do PESTLE and Michael Porters five-force strategy analysis To recommend suggestions for the improvement of the organization
METHODOLOGY
PRIMARY SOURCES Primary data collected through discussion with different departments management personnel, supervisors, key workers of the company, other staffs and observation of the process system SECONDARY SOURCES It obtained from companys official website, financial statements, annual reports and other records kept by the corporation, books, journals etc
LIMITATIONS
Study is not an exhaustive one as it pertains only to the Head office and branch office at Thiruvananthapuram. Some of the official records were not available due to its confidentiality There are a large number of schemes as a result due attention could not be given to all. Time was the major constraint. As the time allotted for the study was only 15 days, a detailed study was not possible.
