The product portfoilio1 including Mamee Monster; Mamee Instant and Sllrrp!Noodles;Double Decker and Smax cracker snacks; Mister Potato Chips; Mister Potatp Crisps; Cheers Beverage; Nicolet Swiss Herb Candy; and the most recent additions, Nutrigen Cultured Milk Drink, Yogourt and IQ3. The company was incorporated in the year 1971 with production commencing the following year, is currently listed on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. In 2008, MDD2 achieved total group revenue growth of 10% to RM 397.0 million.Profit after tax increased by 69% to RM 23.6 million as compared to the same period last year of RM 14.0 million,taking into account input cost inflation and loss in foreign currency exchange.In term of award, MDD won 2008 Anugerah Kecemerlangan Industri Award also known as Industrial ExcellenceAward from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI). It is a remarkable recognition of their continuous efforts and commitment to become a major exporter of quality food and beverage products.

Hwa Tai Industries Berhad (HTIB) is one of the premier and long established biscuit manufacturers in Malaysia. Established in 1962 and listed on the Stock Exchange Malaysia in 1992. Product portfolio of Hwa Tai includes Marie biscuit; Luxury crackers; Choice; Dlicious; D'Cream; D'Lite and Organic Luxury Cracker. From statement in the annual report 2008 3, The Group recorded a higher turnover ofRM80.25 million for 2008, a 13% jump from the previous year. A net profit of RM415,000 was achieved by the Group;the figure, though humble, represents a remarkable improvement from the net lossof RM1.23 million posted in the precedingyear. The Company's feat in 2008 was recognised and registered when it won the Industry Excellence for Manufacturing awarded by the Malaysia Canada Business Council and also the Malaysia Power Brand 2009 Award.
