1. 1 Combine three parts baking soda with one part table salt in a small bowl. The final result will need to be about cup of the mixture. Sea salt may be used, if desired, but it may give your strawberry baking soda toothpaste and overwhelming salty taste. 2. 2 Add three tablespoons of liquid vegetable glycerin to the powder. Add water a tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly, until a thick paste has formed. The end result should be similar in consistency to regular toothpaste. 3. 3 Add 5-10 drops of strawberry flavoring oil and mix well. Add more or less depending on how strong you want the flavor. Five drops should give a mild strawberry flavor to your baking soda toothpaste. 4. 4 Transfer your baking soda toothpaste from the bowl to a low tub or jar with lid. Label with contents and date, and store in a cool, dry place for up to thirty days. 5. 5 Brush your teeth with your new baking soda toothpaste by dipping out a small amount from the jar onto your tooth brush.
