The Garden Cuisine a restaurant that has nice ambiance, kind People and different delicious delicacies where your family can visit anytime. As I and my classmates entered the Restaurant we didnt expect a warm welcome from the crew and staff of a small but wonderful restaurant namely The Garden Cuisine it is the sister company of Sycamore. This Restaurant is owned by Mrs. Beth Ma alac, A cheerful, a good business woman and also a friend of our Professor Mrs. Bildan. The first thing that I notice in the restaurant is its colorful decorations, beautiful landscape and the suitable combination of the table cloth that are used in the table and also the aquariums that added great ambiances. Moving on, our professor grouped us into 4 groups to evaluate whats going on around the Back of the House how the food is being prepared, how the materials are being stored etc. As we looked up the pre-preparation area, in this area the all the things that you need is stored here. The Ingredients are correctly arranged and the temperature is right but I become aware of some utensils especially the other knifes that are already rusting and the refrigerator is almost full, you must limit some foods that being stored inside the fridge because the refrigerator will experience some difficulties in freezing some foods and the surroundings are quite dim because of the few lightings I nearly fell off the ground because I cant see the floor . Next is the Final preparation area, this is the area which the foods are being prepared, thawed (for frozen foods), and cooked. But there are things that kept my mind telling me about the person who is preparing or cooking the dish is when he dont usually wears any gloves or having at least a towel on his side to wipe out his sweat since it is a cooking area probably the area will always be warm at all cost. Todays menus are: Afritada, Chapsuy, Pancit canton, Shanghai, Pinapaitan and many more. Their smell keeps me wondering how they taste so, when I tried some Afritada Pinapaitan, shanghai and some rice and matching cucumber and pineapple with apple. When I tasted them one by one, theres only one thing or word that I can describe about their main dishes is WOW. I never thought that they would taste that good. And about the dessert, the blend of the apple and pineapple taste perfectly and also the cucumber and lettuce leaf. After some minutes of eating I felt that I couldnt eat anymore so I decided to stop and rest for a minute because I want to take this chance to eat much as I can because it a eat all you can buffet but my stomach cant handle more food anymore. As we all finished our meal we head back to TSU for our next class. I am happy to our trip for this day because Its my first time to evaluate a Back of the house and surroundings of a restaurant. I am very thankful for this opportunity that was given by us; I hope theres more activity waiting for us in the future. When I have the time, I will tell all my relatives and friends to come visit a restaurant with a good service namely The Garden Cuisine.
