Community Action is conducting a three-part Job Seekers Workshop Series designed to help job seekers achieve their employment goals. Come to Community Action to learn and practice skills vital in obtaining and maintaining employment in todays tough job market. Workshop 1: Job Search/Resume Building Workshop - Saturday, January 21, 2012, 1:30pm - 3:30pm Learn how to set goals related to your job search, where to look for jobs and how to build a resume that shows employers your best attributes, experience and skills set. Workshop 2: Mock Interview Workshop - Saturday, February 18, 2012, 1:30pm - 3:30pm Learn how to prepare for an interview by participating in a mock interview with experienced professionals who will provide instant, helpful feedback that you can use on your next real job interview. Workshop 3: Maintaining Employment Workshop - Saturday, March 17, 2012, 1:30pm - 3:30pm Learn basic skills that nearly all employers want their ideal employees to have. Professionalism in the workplace, personal time management, workplace culture and other topics important to keeping the job you want.

Location for all meetings: Paul Wellstone Room, Bigelow Building, Suite 5, 450 Syndicate Street N.
