PURPOSE
To define the procedure of Leave Administration to all concerned to understand and carry out the activity effectively. 2. SCOPE
Managers and the HR are responsible for maintaining these procedures for the employees. 4. PROCEDURE Leave requests forwarded by the employee Leave requests sanctioned or denied by the supervisor and HRMS updated accordingly.
An employee requests his immediate supervisor for a leave (Paid, Compensatory off, Maternity, Paternity) through HRMS. The supervisor then either sanctions or denies the leave on HRMS itself and records her/ his reasons. Accordingly the leave balance for the employee gets updated by the HR Operations. If the employee takes leave without applying, then the supervisor has to inform HR which may results in Loss of Pay. In the case of emergencies it is absolutely necessary that the employee informs their supervisor. Coverage

Every employee has a leave entitlement of 2 days per month, pro rated annually depending on the date of joining. However, all those undergoing process training will not be allotted leave.
