This Weeks Homework Assignments

y Mondays Homework: Students will have their math worksheet that will entail addition, and subtraction problems. They will also be responsible to do their sentences for their spelling words. The students must tale each spelling word and create a sentence. y Tuesdays Homework: Today the students will be responsible for completing section one, of page 65 in their English writing textbooks. y Wednesdays Homework: Todays homework for the students is to read the first ten pages of their social studies textbook. We will discuss the pages read. y Thursdays Homework: Today students must study for their spelling test! Good Luck!

This weeks Lunch Menu is as follows:

Monday: BBQ Chicken, Buttermilk rice, white or chocolate milk, and Cherry Jello Tuesday: Salisbury steak, Macaroni and Cheese and Green Peas, white or chocolate milk and a fruit cup Wednesday: Hotdogs and French Fries, White or chocolate milk, and red velvet cake Thursday: Tacos, white or chocolate milk, and chocolate pudding Friday: Chicken Sandwiches, French Fries, White or chocolate milk, and vanilla cake

This Months Terrific Kid


This Months Terrific Kid is Tyneshia Martin. Tyneshia is a super helper around the classroom. She is very caring, and she always shares with her classmates. She is a fantastic person, and Im so happy to see her awarded with this months terrific kid.

Congratulations Tyneshia! You are FANTASTIC! PTSO will be hosting a valentines day program that will feature the second grade chorus. The program will take place Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. I look forward to seeing each of you!
