The three parts of the magazine - the front cover, article, and contents page - are connected through consistent elements of mise-en-scene, background, colors, fonts, and dates. Graffiti Background Everything on front cover follows through onto the article and contents. Dizzee Racal featured throughout the pages within titles and images.

Use of NME title on contents page and printed small at the bottom of article page.

Slanted words for titles impose attitude and rebellious nature.
