The kindergarten class at St. Paul Lutheran School had a busy week of learning. They practiced counting to 100, heard Bible stories, and celebrated February birthdays. They also studied the letter O, practiced telling time and money, and enjoyed handwriting practice. Upcoming lessons will include Jesus' miracles, the letter K, a weather project, and more time and money lessons. The class will sing in church on February 12th and is looking forward to a field trip to a wildflower center in May.

REJOICE, PRAY, GIVE THANKS!


We have been practicing our counting to 100 all week! Check out our celebration tickets to see all the activities we participated it!
In Religion this week we heard the story of Zacchaeus, talked about prayer, thought of the many blessings God gives to us, celebrated February baptism birthdays and heard about where our offerings will be going for this semester! We acquired some new papers on our calendar clipboards! They help us

Your child may bring in Valentines to hand out to all friends in our class. *Keep saving any empty tissue boxes!

practice telling time and learning about money. In Language we studied the vowel O and enjoyed some special stories about the octopus and had a wonderful visit to the organ! We also practiced our handwriting and are working on writing sentences in our journals!

Next week we will begin our study on Jesus miracles; letter K; our special weather project; time and money!

Keep up the nice job reading for AR and the splendid work on homework calendars! Try to practice address, phone number and tying shoes too!

We will be singing in Church for the 10:40 service on February 12th! Please make plans to attend!

We had such a fun and exciting week! Ask your child to share some of his or her favorite activities of the week!

I know this is early, but I just wanted to let you know . . . The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower center confirmed our field trip date for Thursday, May 3rd @ 9-12:30.
