Keruing

Keruing is a type of tropical hardwood with a density ranging from 690-960 kg/m3 that is durable to moderately durable. It is difficult to machine due to the presence of silica and resin but saws easily and finishes well. Common applications for keruing include beams, truck bodies, flooring, bridges and railway sleepers due to its strength, durability and resistance to acids.
