Project Title:
Mobile Application for efficient use of www.pec.edu.in on mobile

Abstract:
We will develop a mobile application for www.pec.edu.in. Application will be based on Android platform. It will have an interface that will require user input as a course id, then it will give the important links to the user and results will be shown. Then user can perform the action of its liking.

Motivation:
This project could be used by the students to view lecture notes or assignments of different courses. This application will be easy to use and will show only the important links to the students. It would be less hectic and easy to load on a mobile screen as looking at a website from web browser seems to be a tedious task in a mobile

Development Procedure:
1. First of all application will have an interface to interact with user. 2. Then user will give his input as a course id. 3. Then results will be received from www.pec.edu.in and HTML parsing will be done to show four important links : Course Homepage Lecture Notes Assignment Syllabus 4. Then user will click on one of these links and we will show him the contents inside the link.

Future Scope:
1. Application can be extended to get course name as well. 2. Application can be integrated with the academia web server to get more utilities from it. 3. It can further be made for other OS as well, such as iOS for apple etc.
