Bar Graphs

A survey was conducted of a Year 5 class to determine students' favorite subjects. The results were tallied in a chart showing that Maths was the most popular subject with 10 votes, followed by Literacy and Music with 7 votes each. A bar-line graph was drawn using the tally chart data with labels for the title, x-axis, y-axis and a good scale. The mode for favorite subject was determined to be Maths. A second survey on favorite colors was given and students were to make their own tally chart and bar-line graph to display the results.
