Blackout: by Krishnendu Piplai - Distorted Malice

The poem describes finding solace in the darkness of night. The speaker hides their inner turmoil and doubts by drawing strength from the moonlight. They seek refuge from their faults and fears in the dark, imagining their scars smiling in the moon's light. Doubts and condemned desires plague the speaker's mind, as they bury their faith in their own remains and lost in the dark crave for a spark of light.

Blackout

Under the moonlight solemn peace is served , blackout curtains the lights of turbulence , echoing breeze when the lifeless speak..

Hide your dilemma in the camouflaged darkness , draw your strength from the soothing moonlight , when inner fantasia play in the radiant moon`s floodlight , scars that smile who hangs in the skies , orating conscience dictates a schizo`s nightmare..

Eerie chills of the blackened night , fills my mind with solitude`s delight , find asylum in a dark corner`s lap , I hide my kryptonite in the covert closet of dusk , shrapnel of faults outlines my unhealing bruises , at war within I seek refuge in my tranquil past ..

Smokes and fires of my faulty desires , condemned fears whistles bullets past my ears , belief`s corpses stare at the fading infinity , clouds of doubts decorate my burning skies..

Burial of faith in my scorched remains spoils I etch on the sands of grave , eclipsed the deity celebrates my futile worship , venom of infidelity prides my subtle indiscretion..

Lost in the dark I crave for a spark , Lie in the pit of yield`s wrath , simulate joy in the fabled night , inanimate builds show signs of life..
