remainder of the math skills/concepts that are being taught prior to the FCAT. Chapters 11 & 12 will be explored AFTER the FCAT and are previews of material that students will study in Fourth Grade. This week students will read

Leah's Pony, a realistic fiction story about a farm family and the struggles they face during a long drought. As students read, emphasis will be placed upon identifying fact from fiction. Students will also work on action verbs.
