Cheat Mode RTCW

This document provides instructions for enabling cheat codes in the single-player version of the game Return to Castle Wolfenstein. It explains that you need to edit the desktop shortcut for the single-player game and add "+set sv_cheats 1" to the target field. Once in the game, you can use cheat codes like "/god" for god mode and "/notarget" so enemies do not attack by bringing down the console with "~" and typing in the code. Common cheat codes and their effects are listed.

Cheat mode (client): You can use this cod on the single player retail version of the game,

and only on a saved game. This trick doesn't work on demo's or multi-player games. Edit your Windows 9x/ME Desktop Shortcut for the game and alter the TARGET field to: "C:\Program Files\Return to Castle Wolfenstein\WolfSP.exe" +set sv_cheats 1 If using Windows XP, right click on the single play shortcut. On the COMMAND LINE, make sure the command line is in quotes and add +set sv_cheats after two spaces, so it resembles: "drive:\path\folder\WolfSP.exe" +set sv_cheats 1 Remembeer there are two spaces between the last " and the + in the Windows XP shortcut. Or open an MS-DOS prompt, use the cd command to change to the game directory and start the game with the wolfsp +set sv_cheats 1 command line. Edit the path as necessary if you installed the game to another location. Start the game. Push ~ while playing the game to show the console window.
